Location study for setting up a manufacturing unit for a self-adhesive labelstock company

A world's leading manufacturer of self-adhesive labelstock wanted to expand its operations in India. The company has factories in five continents and sales offices and terminals around the world. Looking at the increasing demand for their products in India, the company proposed to set up a manufacturing plant in India.

We were assigned the task to evaluate the best location in India from different point of views for their proposed manufacturing unit.

• Investigation on local terms and conditions for lease / purchase
• Analyzing different options with cost comparisions
• Arranging visit of the company personnel to the identified sites
• Short-listing a suitable location based on several criteria defined by the company
